Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

Fusion Vehicle Air Conditioning Ltd.  - Updated: August 2026

These Terms & Conditions set out the basis on which Fusion Vehicle Air Conditioning Ltd. (“we”, “us” or “our”) provides vehicle air conditioning services.

By booking or instructing us to carry out work, you (“the customer”, “you” or “your”) agree to these Terms & Conditions.

These terms apply to both private customers and business customers, although certain consumer rights apply specifically to customers acting as consumers.

1. Our Services

Fusion Vehicle Air Conditioning Ltd. provides mobile vehicle air conditioning servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and related services.

Our services may include, where appropriate:

  • Air conditioning system inspections and diagnostics

  • Refrigerant recovery and recharging

  • Air conditioning system servicing

  • Leak detection

  • System performance checks

  • Replacement or maintenance of relevant components

  • Cleaning and maintenance of air conditioning and ventilation systems

  • Advice regarding vehicle air conditioning maintenance

The exact services provided will depend on the vehicle, the condition of the air conditioning system and the requirements agreed with the customer.

2. Quotations and Estimates

Any quotation or estimate provided by Fusion Vehicle Air Conditioning Ltd. will be based on the information available to us at the time.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, a quotation covers only the work specifically described.

If additional work, parts or materials are found to be necessary, we will normally discuss this with you before carrying out additional chargeable work.

Additional work may be required where, for example:

  • A fault is discovered during inspection or servicing

  • The vehicle has an existing mechanical or electrical fault

  • Components require replacement

  • A leak or other system problem is identified

  • The condition of the system differs materially from the information provided when the booking was made

Where additional work is authorised by the customer, the additional work will be charged accordingly.

3. Diagnostic Work

Air conditioning faults can sometimes require further investigation.

Payment for a diagnostic or inspection service covers the diagnostic work carried out and does not necessarily include the cost of repairing any fault identified.

Where a fault is identified, we will explain the findings and, where possible, provide options for further repair.

A successful refrigerant recharge or service does not guarantee that an existing fault will be permanently resolved.

4. Vehicle Condition

The customer is responsible for informing us of any known faults, previous repairs, modifications or relevant issues affecting the vehicle or air conditioning system.

We will take reasonable care when working on the vehicle.

However, air conditioning systems and their components can deteriorate with age, and components may fail during or after servicing due to pre-existing wear, corrosion or defects.

Where we identify a component that appears unsafe, damaged or unsuitable for further operation, we may decline to carry out work until the issue has been addressed.

5. Existing Faults and Component Failure

Air conditioning systems contain mechanical, electrical and refrigerant components that may be subject to wear and deterioration.

Where a vehicle has an existing fault or damaged component, servicing or recharging the system may not resolve the underlying problem.

Fusion Vehicle Air Conditioning Ltd. cannot be held responsible for a pre-existing fault or component failure that was not caused by our work.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

6. Refrigerant Handling

Where refrigerant is recovered, recycled or recharged, Fusion Vehicle Air Conditioning Ltd. will use appropriate equipment and procedures.

The refrigerant type used will depend on the vehicle manufacturer's specification and the requirements of the air conditioning system.

We will not knowingly introduce an incorrect refrigerant into a vehicle's air conditioning system.

Where the vehicle has previously been incorrectly charged, contaminated or modified, additional work may be required before the system can be serviced correctly.

7. Parts and Materials

Where replacement parts or materials are required, we will normally discuss the requirement and associated cost with the customer before fitting them.

Parts may be supplied from manufacturers, distributors or other appropriate suppliers.

Where a customer supplies their own part, Fusion Vehicle Air Conditioning Ltd. cannot guarantee the suitability, quality or compatibility of that part. We reserve the right to refuse to fit a part that we reasonably believe is unsuitable, defective or unsafe.

Any manufacturer or supplier warranty applicable to a replacement part will be subject to the relevant manufacturer's or supplier's terms.

8. Booking Appointments

Appointments are subject to availability.

We will make reasonable efforts to attend at the agreed date and time. However, mobile services can occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including traffic, weather, vehicle access, previous appointments taking longer than expected, equipment failure or other unforeseen circumstances.

If we need to change or rearrange an appointment, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you as soon as possible.

9. Customer Responsibilities

The customer must ensure that:

  • The vehicle is available at the agreed location and time.

  • We have safe and reasonable access to the vehicle.

  • The vehicle is parked in a suitable and safe location for the work to be carried out.

  • Any relevant security, access or parking restrictions are communicated to us in advance.

  • The vehicle is not being used while work is being carried out.

  • Any known faults or relevant information about the vehicle are disclosed to us.

We reserve the right not to carry out work where the working environment is considered unsafe or unsuitable.

10. Mobile Service Locations

Our mobile service may require suitable access around the vehicle.

Where necessary, we may require sufficient space to position our service vehicle and equipment safely.

If suitable access is not available, we may need to rearrange the appointment or, where appropriate, recommend that the vehicle is taken to a suitable workshop.

11. Prices and Payment

Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due when the work has been completed.

We accept the payment methods made available by Fusion Vehicle Air Conditioning Ltd. at the time of booking or service.

All prices will be communicated to the customer before work is undertaken where reasonably practicable.

Prices may change where additional work, parts or materials are authorised by the customer.

Where a quotation is given, the quotation will normally remain valid for the period stated on the quotation.

12. Cancellation and Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. Customers should provide as much notice as reasonably possible if they need to cancel or rearrange an appointment.

Any cancellation charges will be reasonable and will take account of the circumstances and any costs or losses reasonably incurred by Fusion Vehicle Air Conditioning Ltd.

Where statutory cancellation rights apply to a consumer, nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove or restrict those rights.

Where a customer specifically requests that a service begins during an applicable statutory cancellation period, we may require the customer's agreement to this before beginning work.

Where the law permits a charge for services already provided following a valid cancellation, any such charge will reflect the work actually carried out and the applicable legal requirements.

13. Payment for Completed Work

Where work has been completed in accordance with the agreed service, payment remains due even if the customer subsequently decides not to proceed with additional recommended repairs.

Any dispute regarding an invoice should be raised with Fusion Vehicle Air Conditioning Ltd. as soon as reasonably possible.

14. Guarantees and Warranties

Any specific warranty or guarantee offered by Fusion Vehicle Air Conditioning Ltd. will be explained to the customer at the time the relevant service or repair is provided.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, a routine air conditioning service or refrigerant recharge does not constitute a guarantee that the vehicle's air conditioning system will remain fault-free.

Air conditioning systems can develop faults after servicing due to existing defects, leaks, component failure, electrical faults or other causes outside our control.

Any warranty provided by Fusion Vehicle Air Conditioning Ltd. applies only to the work or parts specifically covered by that warranty and is subject to its stated conditions.

15. Customer's Statutory Rights

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.

Where you are a consumer, services supplied by Fusion Vehicle Air Conditioning Ltd. will be carried out with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict liability where doing so would be unlawful.

16. Liability

Fusion Vehicle Air Conditioning Ltd. will take reasonable care when carrying out work on your vehicle.

We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by:

  • Pre-existing faults or defects

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Components that fail due to age, corrosion or pre-existing deterioration

  • Incorrect information supplied by the customer

  • Defective or unsuitable customer-supplied parts

  • Modifications or previous repairs carried out by third parties

  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

17. Vehicle Security and Personal Belongings

Customers should remove valuable or personal belongings from the vehicle before work begins.

Fusion Vehicle Air Conditioning Ltd. is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle, except where liability arises as a result of our negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded.

18. Complaints

We aim to provide a professional and reliable service.

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us as soon as possible and provide details of the issue.

We will investigate the complaint and aim to resolve it fairly and reasonably.

Where appropriate, we may request photographs, invoices, diagnostic information or other relevant evidence to help us investigate the issue.

19. Business Customers

Where Fusion Vehicle Air Conditioning Ltd. provides services to a garage, car sales business or other commercial customer, these Terms & Conditions will apply unless alternative written terms have been agreed.

Business customers are responsible for ensuring that they have the authority to instruct Fusion Vehicle Air Conditioning Ltd. to carry out work on a vehicle.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment terms for business customers are as stated on the relevant invoice.

20. Intellectual Property

All content on the Fusion Vehicle Air Conditioning Ltd. website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos and other materials, belongs to Fusion Vehicle Air Conditioning Ltd. or is used with permission and may not be reproduced without prior written permission.

21. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information published on our website is accurate and up to date.

However, vehicle specifications, refrigerant requirements, service procedures and other technical information can vary between vehicles and manufacturers.

22. Privacy

Fusion Vehicle Air Conditioning Ltd. will process customers' personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it and how we use and protect that information.

23. Events Outside Our Control

We will not be responsible for delays or failure to provide services where this is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

This may include severe weather, road closures, traffic disruption, equipment failure, vehicle access problems, illness, supply shortages, changes in legislation or other unforeseen circumstances.
Where reasonably possible, we will notify the customer and seek to rearrange the appointment.

24. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The version published on our website will apply to bookings made after the relevant update, unless otherwise agreed.
